Prof. John Vissing, director of the Copenhagen Neuromuscular Center, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, provides an update on non-dystrophic myotonia focusing on chloride channelopathies in the following webinar. He takes a closer look at pathophysiology, clinical symptoms, findings, diagnosis, and impact of exercise. He also introduces new ongoing research looking at whether permanent muscle weakness can develop in patients with myotonia congenita.
